So if your wondering why i have posted a picture of myself when i visited the Donkey Sanctuary its called PFA - for those oldies like me that means picture for attention.

So the "Practice Matters" podcast from the Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices is well respected in the veterinary industry, so being asked by a fellow podcast to appear on their show was a nice surprise - Thanks Ian.

Ok so the heading is a tad dramatic, but we did get a couple of listeners in the US and the Netherlands.

As 2025 comes to a close, I can honestly say this has been the toughest professional year I've ever faced. Real challenges that pushed every limit and tested resilience in ways I didn't expect.

And it was not easy but the first episode is out in the wild, just search "Not a Vet Podcast" or add Sarah Holmes to the end of it - Challenges were a plenty with everything from none approval by a comms teams till the New Year to a trapped nerve in my back.. oh and Christmas of course.
