Working for a living

09/04/2026

Doing the "day job" and this? Its a lot.

So fair to say i have been awol, a fair bit. This is why we try to stay ahead podcast wise for when "life" takes over and i cannot get things done. The reason we release podcasts fortnightly is entirely that and at the moment we are still a month ahead.. good job really. People in the vet industry have been keeping me busy with "special projects" - you know who you are!

So whats new, well our advert for the podcast is now in print in the Veterinary Edge magazine ( thanks guys ) and people are listening as a result of it... right the way across 14 countries?! So much so Spotify has requested a translated version.. I mean go one then Spotify as its you.

So who's in the photo above? Well Sarah Cowan used to work with us back in the day. RVN, Technical Sales Representative, Country Manager and now Territory Sales Manager the list goes on - could even say shes made it in life due to her time with me... but that would be telling fibs, shes done this on her own and was painfully directly requested when she was with us... people liked her too much.

Well shes agreed to come on the podcast so this one will be an adventure for sure, plenty of tales to tell.. looking forward to it - if she ever gets back to me with a date :)

In other news, Ben looks like hes got round to the final edit for Victoria Johnson from Vet CT and her interview, just needs final sign off before release - this delay is on us as i said previously its been busy. Therefore next up should be Aaron from Sore Paws Vets, now if you listened to the first every podcast with Sarah the vet Aaron is the Husband and " business manager" of the practice - if you liked the first release the husband / male perspective is an eye opener to say the very least.

Oh and our other little fun project Compare the vet247. com has made its first 100 vets join us! And to those who said don't do it... you should listen to the podcasts to understand our passion for pets and our love of vets, nurses and all the support staff - or just agree i don't listen.

Thanks for listening, means a lot.

Mark, Ben, Ellie and Neil
