Global Reach & Part 2 Date
Ok so the heading is a tad dramatic, but we did get a couple of listeners in the US and the Netherlands.
12 days ago, I hit 'publish' on the very first episode of the Not a Vet podcast - Maybe launching a Podcast on Christmas eve was madness..
Despite launching in the middle of the holiday slump, the response has been incredible. We've already hit 54 downloads!
Why does that matter? According to industry benchmarks, getting over 30 downloads in your first week puts a podcast in the Top 50% of all shows worldwide. π
I'm particularly proud to see that the "Not a Vet" message is already crossing borders, with early listeners tuning in from: π¬π§ The UK (Home base!) πΊπΈ The USA π³π± The Netherlands
A massive thank you to the first 54 of you.
Don't forget that Sarah Holmes from Sore Paws Part 2 is releasing on Wednesday too!
Starting to make bookings now for 2026
First ones booked in with Ian Wolstenholme from the Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices - now in truth this isn't my Podcast, its actually his and he will be interviewing me wondering why I'm doing this!. Hopefully i will be ok to re-post it on our feed and Ian's good at editing - hoping to learn how its done here.
Added some other kind people to the guest list too so go take a look.
Thanks to everyone whos supported us.
Here's the Spotify Link if you haven't already listened to Part 1
Meanwhile the stats for this website are crazy..
Over 7,000 visits? - Can you give it a listen also?

Over on our LinkedIn page a "few" people have seen our posts - like 22,000 "impressions"
And the follower count has made 633 of you, thanks that's a great number - don't forget you can invite people yourself too
Our Most popular download platform was of course Spotify closely followed by Apple Music - yes you can just search for it too
And the iPhone users have it as the most popular listening device - who is the Mac user? show yourself
